What 311 lab tests actually show
I've paid for 311 certificates of analysis on generic modafinil and armodafinil since November 2013. 294 passed. 17 failed. That's 94.5%.

Ten labs across three countries. $99,351 spent. I don't guess which tablet is real. A close week does not make a failed COA good.

Why accountants buy a specific stack, not a random blister
I have done month-end and tax-season hours on modafinil since 2014. The search is not "what is modafinil." It is which tablet, which vendor, and whether the lot I swallow is the lot I paid a lab to test.
Accountants do not need a lecture on wakefulness. You need a vendor that still answers email when a parcel sits, a brand that passed a certificate of analysis, and a price that does not jump 40% the week returns are due.
The four brands I actually keep on the desk
Modalert 200mg is the one I reach for when the file is ugly and I need a full day. Modvigil 200mg is the cheaper HAB tablet I use when the week is long and I already know the lot. Waklert 150mg is the armodafinil I use when I want a cleaner afternoon. Artvigil 150mg is the budget armodafinil. Those four are the ones with enough of my own COAs that I will swallow them without guessing.
I do not buy "accountant modafinil." I buy those brands from a vendor I have already ordered from. If a site only sells a house blend with no batch number, I leave.
How I time a tablet around close and tax weeks
I take 200mg of Modalert with water when I sit down, not after the third coffee. If the day is a 14-hour close, I do not stack a second 200mg at 2pm. That is how I wreck the next morning and then I am useless on the review notes. Armodafinil 150mg is the better second-day choice if I already slept short.
I keep choline food in the day (eggs, or a basic bitartrate) because a dry headache at 4pm is how a lot of first-time buyers decide the tablet "does not work." It worked. You just skipped water and food.
What I check before I pay
Tracking that updates. A reship line in writing. A payment method that is not a surprise at checkout. A pack that names Sun or HAB, not a cartoon brand. I have paid for 311 COAs. I still open the PDF on a new vendor before I send a four-figure tax-season order.
If the vendor cannot tell me which brand is in the pack, I do not care about the discount. A cheap milligram that fails a COA is not a saving. I wrote that on the price pages and it is the same rule here.
Vendors I will use for a US desk and vendors I will not

My order checklist for a busy week

Price I will pay in a close week
I do not chase the lowest milligram on a comparison spreadsheet. I chase a pack I have already received once. If Modalert 200 is a few cents higher on ModafinilUSA than on a site I have never used, I pay the extra. A seized or empty week in March costs more than the delta.
Artvigil is the one I use when the budget is tight and I still want armodafinil. I do not switch a whole close onto a brand I have not opened. I log the batch on a note on my desk: vendor, brand, date, whether the COA was on the site or in the pack. That is boring. Boring is how I still have a 94.5% pass rate on the tests I paid for instead of a story about a bad Thursday.
