Why should I trust a review site?
You shouldn't take any site on faith, including this one. We may earn money when you buy through links on this site, and every page with a vendor link says so. Shane's picks draw on 12 years of his own testing, and we've changed our main recommendation more than once when a vendor stopped holding up.
I've never done this. Where do I even start?
You don't need to be an expert, just start in the right order. Talk to your doctor first, because modafinil is a prescription medicine in many countries. Then check the rules where you live in our country guide, and read our dosage guide before you decide anything.
I got burned by a vendor before.
You're not alone. As Shane writes in his book, "the vendor you trusted six months ago can vanish overnight, along with your money and your order history." That's why we keep a record of closed vendors and list only three today. Before you order, read the vendor's own refund and reship policy, because that vendor, not BuyModa, handles any problem with your order.
Is it too expensive?
Check each vendor's site for today's price. Each vendor shows its own prices, and our shop page covers the three we review. Be wary of any site far cheaper than the rest. Prices below $0.50 a pill are one of the red flags in our scam guide.
I don't have time to research vendors.

Is it legal where I live?
That depends on your country, so check before anything else. Modafinil is a Schedule IV controlled substance and prescription medicine in the US, a Schedule 4 prescription-only medicine in Australia, and prescription-only in the UK. Should I wait?

Is modafinil right for me?
Only a doctor who knows your health can answer that. In the US, it's approved for adults with excessive sleepiness from narcolepsy, obstructive sleep apnea or shift work disorder. It also has limits. As Shane's book puts it, "Modafinil is not a sleep replacement."

What if customs seizes my order?

What is the difference between Modalert and Waklert?
Modalert contains modafinil 200mg (both R and S enantiomers) and lasts 8–10 hours. Waklert contains armodafinil 150mg (R-enantiomer only), made by Sun Pharma, and is roughly 1.5× more potent mg-for-mg with a duration of 10–14 hours.
